Contractor Grade Masking Tape CP-66

Shurtape CP-66 is a contractor grade paper masking tape built for commercial and residential painting, construction, industrial masking, holding and packaging. It serves professional painters and contractors who need reliable adhesion on varied job-site surfaces. The tape meets ASTM D 6123/D 6123M-97 (2012) Type I certification.

Surface Compatibility Check

Before ordering, verify that the surfaces you plan to mask include windows, metal door jams, moulding, trim, poly sheeting or vinyl substrates. The tape is designed for conformity to irregularly-shaped surfaces and good quick stick on those materials. It is not intended for applications requiring specialised high-temperature or solvent-resistant backings.

Build Integration

The roll measures 72 mm wide by 60 yds long and fits standard hand dispensers used on painting and construction sites. Its quick-stick property reduces the time spent pressing down edges, freeing up crew effort for coating work. The beige paper backing tears cleanly by hand, so no cutting tool is needed during application.
