Industrial detection sensor

The Sick VS/VE18-4P3912 is a cylindrical through-beam photoelectric sensor designed for automation and safety applications. It operates on 10 V DC to 30 V DC supply voltage and provides a PNP switching output with selectable light or dark switching mode. The IP67-rated plastic housing suits harsh industrial environments.

20 metre maximum sensing range

Infrared LED emission achieves a maximum sensing range of 0 m to 20 m with a practical range up to 14 m. The radial optical axis produces a 700 mm light spot at 14 m distance with an approximate 2.8° dispersion angle. Sensitivity is adjustable via a 270° potentiometer for precise detection tuning.

2 metre PVC cable included

A 4-wire PVC cable of 2 m length with 0.14 mm² conductor cross-section and 5 mm diameter is permanently attached for direct wiring. The sensor weighs 200 g and features circuit protection classes A, B, C and D. UL file NMFT2.E175606 confirms compliance for North American installations.
