4K 60Hz HDMI KVM Extender over Cat6

This SIIG extender transmits 4K video up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz over a single Cat6 cable spanning 229.66 ft. It connects one computer to one local and one remote user station with HDMI loop-out, S/PDIF audio and three USB 2.0 ports. The kit includes dual RJ-45 ports and two DC power jacks rated 5 V 2 A.

Suits lecture halls and signage.

Ideal for classrooms, houses of worship, digital signage or home theatres where a single source must reach a distant display with touch-screen control. It does not serve buyers who need to switch between several computers or who require more than one remote station from the same transmitter.

Maximum reach 229.66 ft over Cat6

The 229.66 ft transmission distance is the decisive specification; verify that your cable run stays within this limit before purchasing. Exceeding the rated range will cause signal loss, while shorter runs operate reliably with standard Cat6 cabling.

Questions about this item

What source device and display connections are required for the CE-H27811-S1 to transmit 4K 60Hz video?

The unit needs an HDMI source at the transmitter HDMI input and an HDMI display at the receiver HDMI output; the transmitter also provides an HDMI loop-out for a local monitor.

Can the extender pass 4K 60Hz to a remote display while my local monitor only supports 1080p?

Yes, the HDMI loop-out on the transmitter mirrors the source signal independently, so the remote 4K 60Hz link and the local 1080p display operate simultaneously.

How do I verify the link is delivering 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz after installation?

Check the remote display's on-screen information or the source device's resolution settings to confirm 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz is active.
