Dual HDMI MST Splitter

The SIIG CEDP0L11S1 connects two HDMI monitors to one Mini DisplayPort 1.2 output using Multi-Stream Transport. It is built for professionals who need extended desktop space from a single port on a compatible laptop or graphics card.

Thermals noise and power

The adapter draws power directly from the Mini DisplayPort connection without an external supply. It operates silently with no moving parts and adds negligible heat to the host system during normal use.

Modes and audio support

Mirror, Extended and Panoramic Video Wall modes are selectable in the OS display settings. Panoramic mode requires a GPU with AMD Eyefinity or NVIDIA Surround. The splitter passes 7.1-channel surround audio alongside video up to 3840x2160 at 30 Hz.

Questions about this item

How do I connect this 1x2 Mini DP 1.2 to HDMI MST splitter to my graphics card?

Connect the Mini DisplayPort 1.2 plug to your GPU, attach two HDMI cables to the splitter's outputs, and ensure your AMD Eyefinity or NVIDIA Surround adapter is enabled for extended or video-wall modes.

Will the HDMI cables or Mini DisplayPort connector need replacement over time?

The Mini DisplayPort 1.2 plug and two HDMI ports are passive connectors; they only need replacement if physical damage occurs or a cable fails.

What resolution limit appears first when driving two displays continuously?

Each HDMI output is capped at 3840x2160 @30Hz, so sustained 4K60 or higher refresh rates are not supported on either monitor.
