Silex Technology America, Inc. BR-330AC-LP Wi-Fi 5 access point

Bridge for Ethernet devices

The Silex BR-330AC-LP connects a wired Ethernet device to a dual-band Wi-Fi 5 network at 2.40 GHz and 5 GHz. It operates as a wireless bridge with single or multi-client modes, supporting up to 16 wired clients through a hub. Enterprise-grade security includes WPA Enterprise and TLS 1.2 for protected data transmission. Low power draw of 4.25 W allows flexible installation options.

Suited for mobile and industrial gear

This bridge fits equipment that needs wireless mobility while maintaining a wired Ethernet interface, such as medical carts, handheld scanners or factory sensors. Battery-powered devices benefit from the low consumption design. It is not for networks that require a full access point with multiple wireless clients. It also does not suit installations needing gigabit wired uplinks or Power over Ethernet.

Wi-Fi 5 dual-band radio

The decisive specification is the 802.11ac dual-band radio combined with a single Fast Ethernet port. This defines the maximum wireless throughput and the wired bottleneck for any connected device. If your application demands higher wired bandwidth or multi-gigabit wireless, this model will not meet the requirement.
