This SMA switch lets two desktops or laptops share three displays — two HDMI and one DisplayPort — along with a single keyboard and mouse. It supports extended or mirrored layouts at 4K 60Hz resolution. Three USB 3.0 ports handle peripherals such as printers or scanners at up to 5Gbps. Audio and microphone connections are also provided.

Verify video outputs and cable matching

Each computer must supply two HDMI signals and one DisplayPort signal that correspond to the labelled input groups on the switch. Mixed insertion between the groups is not supported, so confirm your devices have the required ports before ordering. The package includes two USB 3.0 cables for the computer links; HDMI and DisplayPort cables are not included. A 12V power adapter is supplied for the unit.

External power adapter with silent operation

The switch draws power from the included 12V adapter rather than the host computers, keeping USB ports stable for connected devices. The package includes the KVM switch, two USB 3.0 cables, a 12V power adapter, a wired remote button and the user manual. You must supply your own HDMI and DisplayPort cables for every computer and monitor connection.

My laptops have different video outputs — can I mix HDMI and DisplayPort on the same machine?

No. Each computer must use the exact port group shown on the rear: HDMI IN 1A, HDMI IN 1B and DP IN 1C for the first system; HDMI IN 2A, HDMI IN 2B and DP IN 2C for the second. Mixed insertion is not supported.
