Triple-monitor KVM for two computers

This HDMI and dual DisplayPort KVM switch lets two desktops or laptops share three monitors and four USB 3.0 peripherals. A single keyboard and mouse control both systems. The unit supports duplicate and extend display modes. No drivers are required for operation.

Video bandwidth and cabling limits

The switch handles resolutions up to 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz via HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 connections. Each computer must provide one HDMI and two DisplayPort outputs to drive all three monitors. Cables for the video links are not included in the package.

Host graphics and power requirements

Verify that each host graphics card can output one HDMI and two DisplayPort signals simultaneously for triple-monitor use. The switch includes a 12 V DC power adapter for stable operation with high-power USB devices. Front-panel buttons and a wired remote provide system switching.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the HDMI 2.1 or the DisplayPort 1.4 inputs for my 8K 60Hz monitor?

Both HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 ports support 8K at 60 Hz, so either will deliver the full resolution.

Will 4K at 120 Hz actually work on my gaming PC through this switch?

Yes, the switch passes 4K 120 Hz signals over its HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 links, provided your GPU and monitor also support that rate.

Does the USB 3.0 hub run at full 5 Gbps when I switch between computers?

The four USB 3.0 ports operate at up to 5 Gbps and stay connected to the active computer during each switch.
