Interior folders for hanging files

These Smead 10259 interior file folders are designed to fit inside standard hanging folders for letter-size documents. They keep paperwork organized when removed from the file drawer and suit home, office or school filing systems. The orange colour provides quick visual identification among other folders. Each box contains 100 folders.

11-point stock with 3/4" expansion

The folders are made from 11-point stock and feature a 3/4" scored expansion that holds approximately 100 to 150 sheets of standard 20 lb paper. A 1/2" high single-ply tab stays hidden when the folder is returned to the hanging file, preventing interference with the hanging folder's vinyl tabs. The 1/3-cut tab positions allow multiple interior folders to be used in one hanging folder.

Buyers needing standalone filing or larger capacity

These folders are built for use inside hanging folders, so they are not suited for anyone who files directly in a drawer without hanging frames. The 3/4" expansion limits capacity to roughly 100 to 150 sheets, so users with thicker project files should look at wider-expansion or box-bottom alternatives.
