Smead 10405 file folder, 50 per box

Heavyweight file folders with expansion

These Smead 10405 folders are heavyweight manila folders sold in a box of 50. Each folder provides a 1/3-cut tab and 1 1/2 inch expansion for letter-size documents. They are built for high-volume filing where standard folders wear out too quickly. The 11pt stock resists tearing during frequent handling.

Offices needing durable, high-capacity folders

Suits legal, medical and administrative offices that store thick case files and need folders that last years. Not suited for users who only file a few sheets per folder and prefer lighter, lower-cost stock. Buyers who want coloured tabs or built-in fasteners should look at something else.

1 1/2 inch expansion capacity

The 1 1/2 inch expansion is the specification that determines whether this folder fits your filing system. It dictates how many sheets each folder holds before bulging. Verify your shelf or drawer depth accommodates the expanded width before ordering the 50-count box.
