100-count letter-size file folders

These Smead 12234 folders arrive in a 100-count box of goldenrod letter-size stock. Each folder uses 11 point paper with a reinforced 1/3-cut top tab. The two-ply tab construction adds strength at the most-handled edge. Color coding helps speed filing and retrieval in busy offices.

Suited for high-volume paper filing

Offices that process large daily batches of letter-size documents will value the reinforced tabs and 100-folder quantity. Buyers who need legal-size folders or hanging-folder rails should look elsewhere. Environments that require moisture-resistant or plastic construction are not served by this paper stock.

11 point stock weight

The 11 point paper weight determines rigidity, tab durability and how many sheets each folder can hold before bowing. It is the single specification that decides whether this folder matches your filing volume and handling demands.

Questions about this item

Does the 11-pt stock resist curling or heat buildup when folders sit in a drawer all day?

The 11-pt stock is a standard-weight paper material; it does not generate heat and lies flat in normal office conditions.

What filing equipment must I already have to use these 100 folders?

You need a letter-size filing cabinet, shelf, or drawer with rails spaced for letter-width folders.

Will the 1/3-cut reinforced tabs on these goldenrod folders align with older straight-cut folders I still use?

The 1/3-cut tabs sit at three staggered positions, so they will not line up with single straight-cut tabs but can sit beside them in the same drawer.
