Straight-cut folders for high-volume filing

These Smead 12510 file folders come in a 100-count box and are built from 11-pt stock with reinforced top tabs. The straight-cut design provides a uniform tab line for consistent labeling across drawers. Orange color allows instant visual categorisation within a larger system. They are sized for letter documents and arrive new.

Suits offices that file by colour

The reinforced tabs resist tearing during frequent handling, making them a fit for active project files or daily records. Buyers who need legal-size folders, assorted colours in one pack, or hanging-folder compatibility should look elsewhere. The single-colour pack does not support multi-category colour coding out of the box.

Reinforced tabs hold up under daily retrieval cycles

The 11-pt stock maintains rigidity when drawers are packed tightly and folders are pulled repeatedly. Tabs stay intact through months of insert-and-remove cycles without curling or splitting. Wood fibre comes from a certified managed forest, so material consistency is preserved over long runs.

Questions about this item

What size filing cabinet or drawer do I need for these letter-size folders?

The folders are built to letter dimensions, so they fit any standard letter-size cabinet, drawer or shelf without modification.

Will the 11-pt stock hold up if I keep older, heavier manila folders in the same drawer?

The reinforced top tabs add strength, letting the 11-pt folders sit alongside thicker legacy folders without tearing or sagging.

How can I confirm the box contains the full count after opening it?

Count the folders — there should be exactly 100 orange folders in the box, matching the model 12510 quantity.
