Top-tab letter folders in orange

Smead 12543 folders use 11 point stock with one-ply tabs, an undercut front panel and rounded top corners. They are scored for 3/4 inch expansion and come in a box of 100. The 1/3-cut tabs sit half an inch high for clear label visibility.

Suits colour-coded filing systems

The orange colour supports quick visual sorting in offices, schools or home archives. Buyers who need legal-size folders, different tab cuts or a smaller pack quantity should look elsewhere.

1/3-cut top tab with 11 point stock

The 1/3-cut tab height and 11 point material determine how the folder fits in drawers and how much paper it holds. Check that this tab style and stock weight match your existing system.

Questions about this item

What does the 11 point stock mean for everyday filing?

The 11 point stock gives each folder a sturdy feel that resists tearing while staying thin enough to pack tightly in a letter-size drawer.

How does the 1/3-cut top tab work with standard filing systems?

Each tab is one-third the folder width and sits half an inch high, so three tabs line up across the drawer for quick visual scanning.

What space do the scored 3/4" expansion folds need in a cabinet?

The scored folds let each folder grow to three-quarters of an inch thick, so allow that extra depth when planning drawer capacity.
