Recycled Letter File Folders

These Smead 13230 folders are made from 25-point pressboard with a Tyvek-reinforced gusset that expands one inch for bulky letter-size files. Each box contains 25 folders in a gray-green colour and delivers 60 percent recycled content. The heavyweight construction resists wear in high-use filing systems.

High-volume filing vs light use

Offices that maintain thick, frequently accessed client or project files will benefit from the durable expansion and reinforced tabs. Environments that only store a few sheets per folder or need a slimmer profile for tight drawer space should consider lighter-weight alternatives.

One-inch expansion capacity

The single specification that determines fit is the one-inch gusset expansion, which dictates how much paper the folder can hold before the drawer jams. Buyers needing two inches of capacity or a non-expanding folder must select a different model.
