SuperTab Folders for Letter Filing

These Smead 14545 folders fit letter-size documents and come in a 50-count box. The SuperTab design adds extra labelling space on each 1/3-cut tab. Two embedded fasteners hold punched pages securely inside the folder. Manila carded stock gives a traditional look for general office filing.

Carded Stock Handles Daily Handling

The 14 pt. manila carded stock resists tearing during frequent insert and removal of pages. Reinforced guide height keeps tabs aligned in vertical filing equipment. No moving parts or electronics mean silent operation and zero power draw. The material tolerates standard office temperature and humidity ranges.

Two Fasteners and Pocket Add Function

Each folder includes two fasteners positioned for standard two-hole punched paper. A built-in pocket stores unpunched sheets or small inserts without extra supplies. The 50-count box simplifies bulk replenishment for shared filing cabinets. Buyers who need expandable gussets or colour-coded tabs will need a different folder style.

Questions about this item

How do the 2-fastener positions line up with standard letter-size holes?

The folder uses two prong fasteners spaced for letter-size punched paper; the common mistake is inserting sheets upside down so the holes miss the lower fastener.

Will the 14 pt. Manila stock hold up if I access the folder daily?

The 14 pt. carded stock resists edge tearing and tab bending under daily handling; replace the folder when the fasteners no longer clamp securely.

At what point does the 2.625-inch expansion limit stop me from adding more pages?

The folder expands to 2.625 inches thick; once the stack reaches that depth the cover will not close flat and the fasteners can misalign.
