Questions about this item

How do I install the two 2B fasteners and what step is often missed?

Punch two holes matching the fastener spacing, insert the prongs through the folder and papers, then spread both prongs fully flat; the step often missed is spreading the second prong completely.

What maintenance or replacement will these folders need over time?

The 10% recycled manila stock can tear at the fastener holes if overstuffed; replace any folder once the holes elongate or the expansion gusset splits.

What limit appears first when the 1 1/2 inch expansion is used daily?

The 1 1/2 inch fastener capacity is reached before the gusset fully opens, so the folder will not close flat once that thickness is exceeded.
