What the product is and who it is for

Smead 16943 file folders come in a box of 100 and use a 1/3-cut top tab layout. Assorted colours let offices sort projects or clients by hue. Legal-size dimensions suit standard filing cabinets and desk drawers.

Practical limits of the paper stock

The folders are made from 11-point stock with one-ply tabs and an undercut front panel. Scored for 3/4-inch expansion, they hold a moderate volume of documents before bulging. Rounded top corners reduce snagging when folders are pulled from tight rails.

Build quality and daily handling

The colour-coded tabs speed visual retrieval in high-traffic filing systems. Sturdy 11-point construction resists tearing during frequent access. Assorted colours arrive mixed, so immediate colour-coding is possible without sorting separate packs.
