Legal-size classification folders for secure filing

Smead 18733 pressboard classification folders measure 8 1/2 by 14 inches and come in a 10-box pack. Each folder uses 25-pt green pressboard with recycled content and a four-section layout. Two embedded SafeSHIELD fasteners and a single divider create separate compartments for legal documents. The 2/5 tab cut sits right of center for clear labeling in drawer systems.

Sustained load behavior in high-volume filing

The 2-inch expansion accommodates thick case files without stressing the fasteners or tearing the stock. Two-inch fastener capacity holds each section firmly during frequent access and re-filing. Pressboard construction resists edge wear and corner curl over months of daily handling. The single divider keeps categories distinct even when the folder is carried between offices.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

Not applicable to pressboard folders. Green 25-pt stock adds no heat, sound or electrical load to the workspace. Recycled material content meets environmental purchasing guidelines without affecting handling. SafeSHIELD coated fasteners eliminate sharp edges that could snag paper or skin.
