Secure Legal Document Storage

Smead 19880 folders organise legal-size papers for offices and archives that handle high-volume filing. The 11 pt Kraft stock resists daily wear while the top-tab layout fits standard drawer and shelf systems. Two embedded fasteners create separate filing surfaces inside each folder. A 50-count box supplies a department or project team for extended periods.

Fits Standard Filing Systems

Top-tab positioning aligns with common hanging rails and drawer frames so no specialised hardware is required. Fasteners hold punched sheets firmly, freeing users from hole reinforcements or loose inserts. Reinforced tabs withstand repeated pulling and re-filing without tearing. The uniform 11 pt thickness stacks neatly alongside existing legal folders.

Holds Shape Under Daily Load

Reinforced tabs and 11 pt Kraft construction maintain rigidity when folders are packed tightly in drawers or carried between desks. Fasteners keep multiple document sets aligned during frequent access cycles. The material resists edge fraying and corner dog-earing over long-term use. Each folder retains its structure through repeated insertion and removal.

Questions about this item

How many sheets can the two fasteners hold before the 11 pt Kraft material shows strain?

The two fasteners secure papers on separate filing surfaces, and the reinforced tabs add extra durability for heavy daily use.

Does the folder become brittle or warp when stored in a warm office all day?

The 11 pt Kraft stock is designed for standard office conditions and the reinforced tabs resist wear during continuous handling.

What fastener spacing do my existing hole-punched documents need to match these folders?

The folders use a standard two-fastener layout; documents punched for typical legal-size fastener positions will align correctly.
