Reinforced-tab manila folders

Smead 24128 folders are 11 point manila file folders built with double-thick reinforced tabs for heavy use. They arrive in a 100-count box ready for open-shelf systems. Split-punched holes on 2 3/4-inch centres allow fastener positions one through four. The front panel measures 9 inches high and the body expands to three-quarters of an inch.

Suited for high-volume filing

These folders suit offices that need durable daily handling in medical, dental, financial or insurance shelf systems. The heavyweight material resists tearing when pages are added or removed frequently. Buyers who need built-in fasteners, pre-printed labels or colour-coded tabs should look at other products.

11 point manila weight

The single specification that decides fit is the 11 point manila stock, which determines thickness, rigidity and expansion capacity. It governs how much paper the folder holds and how well the reinforced tab survives repeated pulling. Match this weight to your shelf system requirements before ordering.

Questions about this item

Does the 100-box of Smead 24128 folders include labels or fasteners?

Labels are sold separately and the folders are split-punched for customized fastener installation, so fasteners are not included.

When should I choose the 11 point manila version over other weights?

The 11 point manila stock is heavyweight for extra durability in high-use open shelf systems such as medical or financial filing.

How much expansion does the 3/4 inch capacity give me in a filled drawer?

Each folder expands to 3/4 inch, allowing a single folder to hold a substantial stack of documents before needing another folder.
