Heavy-duty filing for high-volume offices

The Smead 34125 uses 11 point manila stock and two embedded fasteners to secure bulky letter-size documents in end-tab systems. Each box supplies 250 folders, making it practical for archives, legal practices or any department that processes large daily volumes. The reinforced tabs resist tearing when folders are packed tightly on shelves.

Durability under daily shelf pressure

The 11 point manila material holds its shape when drawers are filled to capacity and folders are pulled repeatedly throughout the day. Fasteners keep multi-page sets from shifting even after months of access cycles. First listed by the manufacturer in 2010, the design has remained unchanged because it withstands constant handling without tab deformation.

Straightforward setup with standard equipment

Folders arrive flat and ready for immediate labelling; no assembly or special tools are required. The only common issue occurs when users exceed the fastener capacity, causing the prongs to bend or the cover to buckle. Staying within the intended sheet count prevents that problem and keeps the drawer running smoothly.

Questions about this item

Does the 11 point manila stock hold up to daily handling without tearing?

The 11 point manila material is heavier than standard folders, giving it extra rigidity for frequent use in busy filing systems.

What filing cabinet or shelf system is needed to use the end-tab design?

End tabs are made for open-shelf or lateral filing cabinets where the label faces outward; they do not fit traditional front-tab drawer cabinets.

Will the two fasteners align with punched documents from older filing supplies?

The fasteners are positioned to standard letter-size hole spacing, so they work with existing punched papers and divider sets.
