File Folder Out Guides with Pockets

Smead 61950 end tab out guides are rigid vinyl accessories designed for letter-size filing systems. The red colour provides clear visual identification in busy offices. Each box contains 25 guides to support high-volume record keeping.

Capacity and daily workflow

The large welded pocket holds full-sized documents waiting to be refiled when a folder returns. A smaller pocket fits a charge-out form to track removed files. The 15 vinyl stock resists wear during frequent handling.

Upgrade from basic tabs

These guides replace plain tab markers by adding document storage and charge-out tracking in one unit. The jump is worth it when missing folders create delays and a visible OUT tab plus pocket system cuts search time. Not suited for users who only need simple colour-coded tabs without storage.

Questions about this item

Will the 15 vinyl stock and 1/5 cut bottom tabs fit in my existing letter-size filing system?

The out guides are built from 15 vinyl stock with 1/2-inch high tabs in a 1/5 cut bottom position, matching standard letter-size end-tab configurations.

How can I confirm the welded translucent pockets and embossed OUT tabs are functioning correctly after installation?

Insert a folder; the red guide should sit flush, the large pocket holds full-sized documents securely, and the small pocket fits a charge-out form while the embossed OUT tab remains clearly visible.

Does the box contain charge-out guides for the small pocket, or must I purchase them separately?

The box includes 25 red poly out guides with welded pockets; charge-out guides for the small pocket are sold separately.
