End Tab Out Guides with Pockets

Smead 61952 end tab out guides are file folder accessories designed for shelf filing systems. Each guide features a two-pocket construction made from durable, rigid vinyl. The pack contains 25 guides in a red and green colour scheme, sized for letter-format documents.

Sustained filing organisation

The rigid vinyl material resists wear during daily retrieval and re-filing cycles. A small pocket stores charge-out forms while a larger pocket holds paperwork awaiting return, keeping workflow visible over long periods. Acid-free, PVC-free construction protects documents from degradation during extended storage.

Replaces loose charge-out slips

This set upgrades from informal paper markers or missing folder indicators that allow gaps to go unnoticed. The pre-printed "OUT" tabs on both sides give immediate visual confirmation of removed files. Not suited for users who need legal-size guides or guides without integrated pockets.

Questions about this item

Does the poly material in these 61952 guides off-gas or generate heat when left on a shelf all day?

The acid-free, PVC-free vinyl is archival-quality and inert, so it does not off-gas or produce heat during continuous shelf use.

What filing-system components must I already have for the bottom “OUT” tab on these guides to function?

You need a shelf filing system with end-tab slots spaced for letter-size guides; the bottom-position tab locks into those slots.

Will the 13 1/4 x 9 inch guide size align with older letter-size folders I already own?

Yes, the guide is cut for letter-size folders, so existing folders of that format will sit behind the tabs correctly.
