Out Guides for File Tracking

These poly out guides clearly mark where folders have been removed from a filing system. A small pocket holds a charge-out form while a large pocket stores documents awaiting refiling. The centre-position tab is printed for quick identification. They are sold in a box of 50.

Offices Needing Visible Removal Markers

Suits workplaces that require an immediate visual signal when a file is checked out and a place to keep the corresponding paperwork together. Not intended for environments that use electronic tracking only or that need a lockable security solution for sensitive records.

50-Pack Red Poly Construction

The box contains 50 red poly guides, providing a durable, tear-resistant supply for high-volume filing. The diagonal-cut pocket design separates the charge-out form from the documents to be refiled. This quantity and material determine whether the pack matches the office's daily checkout volume.

Questions about this item

How often will the diagonal-cut pockets on the Smead 61960 need replacement under normal filing use?

The poly material resists tearing better than paper guides, so replacement depends on handling frequency rather than a fixed schedule; a box of 50 provides spares for worn or lost pieces.

What is the first capacity limit reached when the Smead 61960 guides are used continuously in a busy office?

The small charge-out-form pocket fills first, because it holds only a single slip per guide while the large document pocket accommodates multiple sheets.

Do the red poly Smead 61960 guides add noticeable heat or noise when left in cabinets all day?

No, they are passive plastic accessories with no electronic components, so they generate neither heat nor sound during extended use.
