Purpose-built tabs for hanging files

The Smead 64615 pack supplies 25 clear vinyl tabs with white perforated inserts designed for 1/3-cut hanging folders. They fit both letter-size and legal-size folders and are intended for offices that need durable, smudge-proof labelling.

Installation notes

Tabs slide into the folder’s tab slot at multiple positions and the angled design makes the label easy to read once seated. The insert sheets are scored and perforated so they separate cleanly by hand; misaligned creases are the only common issue if the sheet is folded against the grain.

Long-term behaviour

The vinyl material resists tearing and does not smudge from repeated handling, so the tabs stay legible through daily filing cycles. Clear construction keeps the label visible without yellowing, and the sturdy tabs maintain their shape even when folders are frequently moved.
