Professional Document Organisation

The Smead 70425 A-Z expanding file folder provides 21 pockets for alphabetical sorting of letter-size documents. Its leather-like Redrope material and open-top design allow quick access while maintaining a professional appearance for client meetings or business travel.

Open-Top Access Benefits

The open-top construction eliminates the need to unzip or unfasten a cover when retrieving files during busy workdays. This design change speeds up document handling compared to closed expanding files and keeps contents visible for immediate identification.

Compatibility Check Before Ordering

Verify that your documents are standard letter size to fit the 21 pockets correctly. Confirm that an open-top expanding file suits your transport method, as contents are not secured by a closure when the folder is carried or stored upright.

Questions about this item

Will the 21 pockets eventually need replacing or can they be repaired?

The 21 pockets are built into the single expanding file; if a pocket tears the whole folder is replaced rather than repaired.

What limit appears first when the 21 pockets are filled with letter-size documents day after day?

The expansion depth of the Redrope cover reaches its maximum before the open-top design restricts further insertion.

Does the leather-like Redrope material trap heat or make noise when the folder sits open on a desk all day?

The Redrope cover is a quiet, passive material that does not generate heat or sound during continuous desktop use.
