Drop-Front Pocket for Bulky Files

Designed for high-volume letter-size records, this manila pocket expands to 3-1/2 inches using an accordion-style gusset. Rollover Tyvek reinforcement at the top of the 6-1/2 inch sides provides virtually tear-proof durability. The 2/5 cut tabs sit in the right position for clear labelling. Redrope construction includes 30 percent recycled content.

Best for Expanding Archives

Suits offices, legal practices and archives that regularly store thick case files or project binders. Not suited for users needing standard flat folders, hanging-file compatibility or pockets with a smaller expansion profile.

3-1/2 Inch Expansion Capacity

The accordion gusset opens to a full 3-1/2 inches, determining how much paper the pocket can hold. This single measurement decides whether the pocket fits the intended bulky records or if a slimmer format is required.

Questions about this item

How much paper can the 3 1/2 inch expansion actually hold in a standard filing cabinet?

The accordion-style gusset opens to a full 3 1/2 inches, letting you store thick project files or multiple report sections in a single pocket without splitting the sides.

What does the 2/5 cut tab in the right position mean for my drawer labels?

The tab is cut to two-fifths of the folder width and sits on the right edge, so you can stagger five tabs across a drawer and still read every label at a glance.

Will the reinforced Tyvek sides and manila redrope material withstand daily pulling from a crowded drawer?

Rollover Tyvek reinforcement at the top of the 6 1/2 inch sides makes the edges virtually tear-proof, while the heavyweight redrope stock resists everyday wear.
