Smead 73206 file folder accessory 100% recycled 5.25" expansion letter redrope 10/box

File Pocket Capacity and Expansion

These file pockets handle bulky records with a 5.25 inch expansion depth. Each box contains ten pockets made from 100 percent recycled redrope stock. Rollover Tyvek reinforcement at the side gussets makes the pockets virtually tear-proof. The acid-free material protects documents from deterioration over time.

Suitable Uses and Limitations

The pockets suit offices that need durable storage for thick paper files and frequently accessed records. The straight tab design works with standard filing systems and supports clear labelling. Buyers who need smaller expansion depths or different tab positions should look at other options. The closed three-sided construction does not allow open-top filing workflows.

Expansion Depth Specification

The 5.25 inch overall expansion is the critical measurement that determines whether these pockets fit the intended filing volume. Confirm that the shelf or drawer depth accommodates this expansion before ordering. The letter size format matches standard filing cabinets and storage boxes. The ten-per-box quantity supports moderate filing needs.
