Legal-Size Expanding Pocket for High-Volume Filing

The Smead 73211 Easy Grip Pocket is a Redrope expanding wallet sold in a 10-count box. It uses patented SmeadGrip material that provides twice the grip of a standard pocket. Legal-size documents fit securely inside the 5 1/4 inch expansion. The folders are new and ready for immediate office use.

Suited for Legal Offices and Archive Rooms

This product suits teams that handle thick legal-size case files and need a sure grip when pulling folders from dense shelves. It is not for buyers who need letter-size pockets or a smaller expansion depth. It is also not for users who want a single folder rather than a 10-pack.

Box of Ten Simplifies Bulk Deployment

The 10-per-box packaging lets a department outfit multiple drawers at once without opening separate retail packs. Each wallet arrives flat and expands to the stated depth when filled. No additional accessories or software are included with the folders.

Questions about this item

Do I need a legal-size filing cabinet or drawer to store these expanding wallets?

Yes, the pockets are legal size so they require a legal-width drawer or cabinet to fit properly.

Will the Redrope material hold up if I keep using older manila folders inside the same drawer?

The Redrope construction is heavier than standard pockets and designed for frequent handling alongside other folder types.

How can I confirm the SmeadGrip coating is working after I load the pockets?

You will feel noticeably more friction when pulling a loaded pocket from the drawer compared with a standard pocket.
