TUFF Pocket File Pocket for Letter Documents

The Smead 73395 TUFF Pocket File Pocket is built for offices that handle thick letter-size project files. Each box contains five heavy-duty pockets made from Redrope stock with a concealed poly reinforcement strip. Manila-lined surfaces accept handwritten or printed labels for quick identification.

Fully Lined Gusset Adds Structural Strength

A Tyvek-lined gusset runs deep into both front and back panels, giving the pocket twice the tear resistance of standard designs. The rollover reinforcement at the top extends further into the panels to prevent splitting when the folder is full. A fold-down front panel allows easy retrieval without removing the pocket from a drawer or shelf.

7-Inch Expansion Handles Bulky Case Files

The 7-inch expansion accommodates large volumes of contracts, exhibits or archival records in a single pocket. Folders that need even greater capacity or legal-size width will require a different model. The product uses wood fibre from a certified managed forest.

Questions about this item

How much expansion does the 73395 pocket provide before it reaches its limit?

The pocket expands up to 7 inches, giving ample room for thick files before the gusset is fully stretched.

Does the Redrope pocket generate noticeable heat or noise when stored in a drawer all day?

No, it is a passive paper product with no moving parts, so it produces no heat or sound during extended storage.

What existing filing equipment is required to use the 73395 straight-cut tab pockets?

They fit standard letter-size hanging rails or drawer frames, so a compatible cabinet or drawer system is all that is needed.
