Green file jackets for letter-size filing

Smead 75503 file jackets arrive in a 100-count box of 11-point green stock. Closed on three sides, they keep letter-size pages, photos, charts or X-rays from slipping out during transport. The reinforced double-ply tabs stand half an inch high for clear indexing. Wood fiber comes from a certified managed forest.

Top-tab jackets limit automatic feeder use

The top-tab design and closed three sides suit manual filing and hand retrieval. Automated feeders or high-speed sorters that require open edges cannot accept these jackets. Thumb-cut fronts speed single-folder access but do not support continuous-feed equipment. Heavy legal-size loads exceed the letter dimensions.

100 jackets handle active project rotation

A full box supports dozens of concurrent projects with room for growth. Each jacket holds a standard letter stack without bulging, but thick binders or multi-inch accumulations will not fit. The 11-point stock resists everyday handling yet tears if overstuffed or forced into overcrowded drawers.

Questions about this item

Should I order the 100-count box of 11 pt stock jackets or a different quantity?

This item is sold only as a 100-count box of 11 point stock jackets; no other pack sizes are offered for this model.

How does the 11 point stock perform when the jacket is carried outside the office?

The 11 point stock provides rigid structure so the jacket holds its shape and protects contents during transport.

What does the top-tab design with 1/2" reinforced tabs mean for daily filing?

The straight-cut tabs sit 1/2 inch high and are double-ply reinforced for durability; the back tab is taller than the front for clear indexing.
