What the product is

Smead 75616 Notes File Jackets are aqua-coloured letter-size jackets that keep documents secure on three sides. Pre-printed lines on both faces let you record details directly on the jacket instead of using separate notes. The pack contains 12 jackets made with 10 % recycled content and SFI certification.

What it replaces

These jackets replace loose folders that rely on sticky notes or scribbles for identification. The upgrade is worth it when files travel outside the office and small incidentals must stay contained. Reinforced two-ply tabs add durability for frequent handling.

Practical limits

The straight-cut tabs suit standard letter filing systems but do not accommodate legal-size sheets. Three closed sides prevent top-loading of bulky inserts. Buyers who need more than 12 jackets per pack or a different colour range will need additional packs.

Questions about this item

What size documents fit inside the 8 1/2" x 11" letter-size jacket?

The jacket holds standard letter-size sheets measuring 8 1/2" x 11" and is closed on three sides to keep contents secure.

How do the reinforced two-ply tabs attach to a filing system?

The straight-cut tabs slide directly into any standard letter-size hanging rail or drawer frame; the two-ply reinforcement resists tearing at the slot.

When should I replace a jacket if the 10 % recycled fibres start to wear?

Replace a jacket when the tab tears, the three closed sides split, or the pre-printed lines become too faded to read.
