Letter-size expanding wallets

These Smead 77203 wallets hold letter-size sheets measuring 8.50 by 11 inches. Each wallet expands to 2 inches, allowing thick project files to stay together. The 11 pt. stock provides rigid support for frequent handling. A pack contains 10 blue wallets for colour-coded organisation.

Elastic cord closure

The elastic cord wraps around the flap to keep contents secure during transport. It stretches to accommodate the full 2-inch expansion without gaping. Heavy-duty construction resists tearing at the stress points where the cord attaches. The flap covers the open edge, protecting documents from dust and snags.

11 pt. stock and flat storage

The 11 pt. material keeps the wallet upright in a drawer or on a shelf when filled. Wallets ship flat and assemble in seconds without tape or fasteners. The blue colour allows quick visual sorting by project or department. Not suited for legal-size documents or for users needing lockable security.

Questions about this item

Will the elastic cords on the 77203 wallets lose stretch and need replacing?

The elastic closure is built into each wallet; if a cord loses tension the whole wallet would be replaced rather than the cord alone.

What stops the 2 in expansion from opening further when the wallet is full?

The 11 pt. folder stock and sewn gusset limit expansion to the stated 2 in depth.

Do the blue 8.50 x 11 wallets trap heat or make noise when stored on a shelf all day?

Paper wallets generate no heat or noise; they simply sit on the shelf regardless of how long they are stored.
