Two-Pocket Portfolio for Document Transport

The Smead 87855 portfolio provides two large pockets designed to hold documents, photos or certificates during transport. Each pocket measures 4-1/2 inches high and is reinforced at the sides with a sturdy glue flap. The portfolio closes at the centre and uses heavyweight leatherette stock with an embossed leather grain finish. A box contains 25 green portfolios.

Durable Construction for Repeated Handling

Heavyweight leatherette stock resists wear when the portfolios are carried daily or stored in bags. The side reinforcement with a strong glue flap keeps pocket seams intact under sustained load. The centre closure helps contents stay in place during movement. These features support reliable performance across repeated use rather than a single trip.

Slit-Punched Pockets for Organisation

The left pocket includes a slit-punched opening sized for a title or business card. The right pocket is slit-punched to hold electronic media such as a USB drive or disc. Both pockets operate without fasteners, allowing quick insertion and removal. The green colour aids visual identification among other office supplies.

Questions about this item

Does the leatherette stock generate any heat or noise when the box sits on a desk all day?

No, the portfolios are passive paper products with no moving parts or power draw.

What other items do I need to start using the slit-punched pockets for documents and media?

Only the papers, photos, certificates or electronic media you want to store inside the pockets.

Will these green portfolios match older Smead folders I already have in the filing cabinet?

They share the same embossed leather-grain finish, so they coordinate visually with existing Smead supplies.
