12-Pocket Letter Organizer

This Smead poly project organizer holds letter-size documents in twelve slash pockets with six write-and-erase tabs. The spiral binding lets it lay flat and rotate 360 degrees for quick reference. Polypropylene construction resists tears and water while remaining acid-free and PVC-free for archival safety.

Upgrade from single-pocket folders

Replacing loose folders or single-pocket sleeves with this unit consolidates up to 300 sheets into one bound organizer. The jump is worth it when projects span multiple categories that need color-coded dividers and a customizable clear front cover for instant identification.

Limits of spiral-bound poly organizers

Each pocket accepts a maximum of 25 sheets, so very thick files must be split across pockets or moved to a larger system. The .5-inch overall thickness and fixed 12-pocket count also cap total capacity, making binders or expanding files necessary for higher-volume archiving.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the 11.75 x 10.25 inch organizer and will it fit on a standard shelf?

The organizer measures 11.75 L x 10.25 W x 0.5 H inches, fitting standard letter-size shelves and drawers with at least half an inch of vertical clearance.

How do the six write & erase tabs attach to the 12 pocket dividers during setup?

Insert each 1/3-cut tab into the notch on its matching divider; the step users miss is pressing the tab fully down until it clicks, otherwise it slides out when pages are turned.

When will the polypropylene cover or spiral binding need replacement under daily use?

The acid-free, PVC-free polypropylene cover and 360-degree spiral binding are tear-resistant and water-resistant, designed to last through repeated daily handling without a scheduled replacement interval.
