Repurpose 20102011 MacBook Air SSDs

This adapter converts the proprietary 12+6Pin SSD from 20102011 MacBook Air models A1369 and A1370 into a standard SATA drive. It is built for owners of those specific laptops who want to reuse the original flash storage after an upgrade. Buyers with later MacBook Air revisions or non-Apple SSDs cannot use this part.

12+6Pin to SATA interface match

The single specification that decides compatibility is the exact 12+6Pin connector found only on the 20102011 MacBook Air A1369 and A1370 built-in SSDs. If the drive does not present that precise pinout, the adapter will not connect and the SSD cannot be read. No other Mac SSD form factor is supported.

USB cable enables external use

The included USB data cable turns the adapted SATA drive into a portable external storage device for backup, file transfer and capacity expansion. Without the cable the SATA connection alone requires a desktop dock or internal bay, limiting mobility. The cable adds plug-and-play convenience for laptop-to-laptop data moves.
