Adds sixteen SATA ports through a single PCIe 3.0 X1 slot using ASM1064 and JMB575 controllers for 24/7 Chia mining or NAS storage
This PCIe 3.0 X1 controller card adds 16 independent SATA III ports to a system, each capable of 6Gbps bandwidth. It is built around ASM1064 and JMB575 chips and targets Chia mining farms, NAS builders and server storage upgrades that need many drives from a single slot.
An integrated heatsink keeps the dual-controller layout stable during continuous mining or NAS workloads. The card draws all power from the PCIe slot itself, so no external connectors are required, and it supports hot-swap, NCQ and SMART for drive health monitoring without downtime.
All 16 ports share a single PCIe 3.0 X1 link, so aggregate throughput cannot exceed that lane’s ceiling when many drives are active simultaneously. The card fits X1, X4, X8 or X16 slots and includes both full-height and low-profile brackets, but buyers who need more total bandwidth than one lane provides should look elsewhere.

The integrated heatsink keeps the 16-port SATA controller stable under continuous mining loads, and the PCIe 3.0 X1 slot supplies all necessary power without external connectors.
A single PCIe 3.0 X1, X4, X8 or X16 slot is sufficient; no additional power cables or proprietary headers are required.
Each of the 16 ports negotiates independently, so legacy 3Gbps drives operate at their native rate while newer 6Gbps drives reach full bandwidth.
