  • Male-to-female RJ45 extends existing network ports
  • Works with PCs, routers, smart TVs and switches

Two-Pack Cat6 Extension Kit

This two-pack provides two 2-foot Cat6 shielded Ethernet extension cables with RJ45 male-to-female connectors. Each cable includes screw-mountable panel brackets for secure fixed installation on cabinets or equipment housings. The shielded twisted-pair construction ensures stable high-speed transmission. The bundle suits home, office and industrial environments where multiple wired connections need extending.

Panel-Mount Integration

The screw-mount brackets let you fasten each female port directly to a panel, cabinet or device housing, turning a recessed jack into an accessible front-facing port. Shielded Cat6 wiring maintains signal integrity through the extension while remaining backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 infrastructure. No tools beyond a screwdriver are required for mounting, freeing up internal routing space and reducing strain on existing cable runs.

Cat6 Shielded Headroom

Cat6 shielding supports gigabit Ethernet speeds across the 2-foot length with headroom for typical residential and small-business workloads such as PC, laptop, router, smart TV and network switch connections. The short reach limits use to panel-to-device or panel-to-panel links; longer runs or multi-gigabit applications would require a higher-category or longer cable not included in this pack.

Questions about this item

What is the maximum data rate this Cat6 shielded cable supports?

The cable is rated for Cat6 performance, which supports up to 1 Gbps over its 2-foot length with shielding to reduce interference.

Does the shielded design and panel-mount bracket affect heat buildup during continuous operation?

No, the passive shielded twisted-pair construction and metal bracket do not generate measurable heat during all-day network use.

Which devices must already have an RJ45 port for these male-to-female extensions to work?

Your router, switch, PC, laptop, smart TV or any network equipment needs a standard RJ45 jack to accept the male plug.
