Connects M.2 NVMe, M.2 SATA and mSATA SSDs via PCIe and SATA III with two aluminum heatsinks for cooling
This adapter card lets you install M.2 NVMe, M.2 SATA or mSATA solid-state drives into a desktop or mini server. It connects through both PCIe and SATA III interfaces, giving flexibility for storage upgrades. The board includes two aluminium heatsinks to keep drive temperatures low during sustained workloads. Plug-and-play operation means no extra drivers are required for common operating systems.
The card handles both PCIe and SATA III signalling, so the single slot can accept NVMe or SATA-based M.2 drives as well as legacy mSATA modules. This protocol flexibility is the specification that determines whether your chosen SSD will work with the adapter. If your drive uses a different interface, the card will not recognise it.
Mount the appropriate SSD onto the board, attach the supplied heatsinks using the included thermal pads, then insert the card into a free PCIe slot and connect the SATA cable if needed. The most common issue is forgetting to remove the protective film from the thermal pads, which prevents heat transfer and can cause throttling. Ensure the heatsinks make firm contact with the controller and NAND before closing the case.

The adapter accepts one M.2 NVMe SSD, one M.2 SATA SSD and one mSATA SSD simultaneously, letting you run three different drive types through a single PCIe slot.
The M.2 NVMe drive runs at PCIe speeds, while both the M.2 SATA and mSATA drives are capped at the SATA III 6 Gbps ceiling.
It occupies a standard low-profile PCIe slot, requires room for two aluminum heatsinks on the M.2 drives, and uses the bracket screw for secure mounting.
