Five-source HDMI switch for one display

This 5-in-1-out HDMI 2.0 switch connects up to five source devices to a single monitor, TV or projector. It is built for home-theatre owners, gamers and office users who need to share one screen between consoles, players and set-top boxes. The IR remote lets you change inputs without leaving your seat.

HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 bandwidth limits

The switch conforms to HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2, so it passes 4K at 60 Hz with HDR. It is backward compatible with 2K, 1080P and 3D formats. Signals that exceed the 2.0 specification or require a newer HDCP version will not be supported.

Check your cables and source output settings

Verify that every source can output a resolution and refresh rate the switch accepts, and that your HDMI cables are rated for the bandwidth you need. The unit is plug-and-play with no driver installation, but it only provides one output, so it cannot drive multiple displays simultaneously.

Questions about this item

Should I pick a different HDMI switch if I only have three source devices?

This model has five HDMI inputs and one output; unused ports simply stay empty and do not affect performance, so it works fine with three devices.

Does the 4K 60 Hz claim hold when I connect a PS4 and a 4K TV through this switch?

Yes, the switch conforms to HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2, allowing stable 4K@60Hz HDR pass-through from consoles such as the PS4 to a compatible display.

What does HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2 actually limit in my setup?

The combination caps video at 4K 60 Hz with HDR and enforces HDCP 2.2 copy protection, so any source or display that requires a higher bandwidth or newer HDCP version will not work at full specification.
