Adds eight SATA 3.0 6Gbps ports through a single PCIe x1 slot for high-density HDD and SSD expansion
This card converts a single PCIe x1 slot into eight independent SATA 3.0 ports running at 6 Gbps. It is built for users who need to attach many drives at once, such as home NAS builders, IPFS node operators or miners running storage-heavy workloads.
A high-performance SATA multiplier controller keeps all eight ports stable during continuous, heavy-duty operation. The standard PCIe bracket fits desktop, server and mining chassis, while the ports accept 2.5 and 3.5 SATA HDDs, SSDs and optical drives for flexible drive mixing.
One card removes the need for several smaller controllers or motherboards with limited native SATA ports. The upgrade is worth it when a single x1 slot must serve eight drives for RAID arrays, mass-storage servers or distributed-storage nodes.

The card runs each port at SATA 3.0 6 Gbps, but the single PCIe x1 lane shares its total bandwidth across all eight drives, so simultaneous transfers will divide that lane's capacity.
It uses a standard PCIe bracket and occupies one x1 slot; the board itself is low-profile, so it fits desktop, server and mining cases alike.
Insert the card into a free PCIe x1 slot, secure the bracket screw, then connect SATA data cables to each drive and power cables from the PSU — forgetting the drive power leads is the common oversight.
