Ready for 8K and high-refresh gaming
This DisplayPort 1.4 cable carries 32.4 Gbps over a 6.6 ft braided run with 24 K gold-plated connectors. It supports 8K 7680x4320 at 60 Hz, 4K 3840x2160 at 144 Hz and 2K at 165 Hz for lossless gaming or cinema playback. Plug-and-play operation works with laptops, desktops, consoles, set-top boxes, monitors and projectors.
Bandwidth and compression limits
The HBR3 link tops out at 32.4 Gbps, so 8K 60 Hz and 4K 144 Hz rely on DSC 1.2 compression to fit inside that ceiling. HDCP 2.2 protects premium content but adds no latency. Longer runs or higher uncompressed resolutions would exceed the standard’s practical reach.
HBR3 32.4 Gbps rating decides fit
Only a DisplayPort 1.4 HBR3 cable rated for 32.4 Gbps can deliver the stated 8K 60 Hz, 4K 144 Hz and 2K 165 Hz modes. Cables limited to HBR2 or lower bandwidth will drop frames or fall back to lower resolutions.

Questions about this item
Should I pick the 3.3 ft or the 6.6 ft length?
Choose 6.6 ft if your monitor sits farther from the PC; the 3.3 ft version is the same DP 1.4 cable but half the reach.
Will the 8K 60 Hz rating actually appear on my screen?
Yes — the cable carries 32.4 Gbps HBR3 bandwidth with DSC 1.2, so a GPU and monitor that support 7680×4320 at 60 Hz will receive the full signal.
Does the DP 1.4 interface limit me to 4K 144 Hz or can it do 8K 60 Hz?
DP 1.4 with HBR3 and DSC 1.2 enables both 3840×2160 at 144 Hz and 7680×4320 at 60 Hz; the cable does not cap either mode.
