33ft Fiber DP 1.4 Cable for 8K@60Hz

This 33-foot fiber-optic DisplayPort 1.4 cable carries 8K resolution at 60Hz and 4K at 144Hz over a 32.4Gbps link. The fiber construction resists electromagnetic interference and delivers a stable signal without an external booster. Gold-plated connectors and a wear-resistant TPE jacket add durability for in-wall routing. It suits gamers and professionals who need long, reliable runs between a source and a display.

Replaces Copper Cables Beyond 10 Metres

Standard copper DisplayPort cables lose integrity past roughly 10 metres, forcing boosters or signal repeaters. This fiber cable removes that limit at 33 feet while keeping full 32.4Gbps bandwidth and backward compatibility with DP 1.2 gear. The jump is worth it when the display sits far from the GPU — home-theatre PCs, projector installs or multi-room setups — and you cannot tolerate artefacts or link drops.

Fits DP Source-to-Display Links with HDR and VR

Plug the Source end into a graphics card or console with a DisplayPort output and the Display end into a monitor, TV or VR headset. The cable passes HDR10, HDCP 2.2, 32 audio channels and 1536kHz sample rate, so high-refresh gaming, 3D content and immersive VR all work. It frees you from running power to an inline booster and keeps the cable path slim for conduit or trunking. Not for buyers who need USB-C alt-mode or Ethernet-over-DisplayPort.

Questions about this item

Will the 33 ft fiber cable fit through standard conduit for an in-wall run?

The cable uses a slim fiber-optic construction with a wear-resisting TPE jacket designed for in-wall routing; its narrow profile passes through typical residential conduit without a separate booster.

Which end plugs into the RTX 3080 and which end goes to the display?

One connector is marked Source for the GPU and the other Display for the monitor; reversing them breaks the directional fiber link so the signal will not appear.

Do the 24K gold-plated connectors need any periodic cleaning or replacement?

The gold plating resists oxidation, so no scheduled cleaning is required; only reseat the plugs if dust accumulates after years of use.
