8K DisplayPort Fiber Cable 16ft

This 16ft DisplayPort 1.4 fiber optic cable connects PCs or laptops to monitors, projectors and HDTVs. It supports 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 144Hz or 240Hz with up to 32.4Gbps bandwidth. The hybrid glass-fiber and copper construction is designed for in-wall routing and long-distance signal integrity.

Sustained 32.4Gbps over 5 metres

Optical transmission eliminates the signal loss that copper cables suffer at this length, so 8K 60Hz and 4K 144Hz remain stable during extended sessions. The cable is backward compatible with DP 1.2 and lower resolutions such as 2550x1440 at 60Hz. Both source graphics card and display must support the target resolution and refresh rate for the link to negotiate the highest mode.

Directional plug-in and bend radius

Connectors are marked Source and Display; reversing them breaks the link. The slim TPE jacket and 24K gold-plated ends fit tight spaces, but the fiber cores require a gentle bend radius — sharp kinks will permanently damage the glass. Verify port orientation before pulling the cable through conduit or behind furniture.
