Black right-angled DC power cable with dual 5.5×2.1mm and 5.5×2.5mm male plugs, 60cm length

SMUGDESK

SMUGDESK 90° DC Power Cord 60cm 5.5×2.1/2.5mm Male-Male

SKU CH-JNVR-BRP26

A right-angled DC power cable with dual 5.5×2.1mm and 5.5×2.5mm male connectors, 60cm long, designed to reduce port strain in tight spaces

  • 90° right-angle connector reduces cable strain and protects ports in tight spaces
  • Dual 5.5×2.1mm and 5.5×2.5mm plug fits both common DC jack sizes
  • 60cm length keeps wiring tidy while reaching cameras, routers and LED strips
  • Thickened copper conductors deliver stable current with minimal voltage drop
  • Angled design prevents sharp bends for reliable long-term power to CCTV and monitors

Right-Angle DC Power Cord

The SMUGDESK 90° DC Power Cord is a 60cm male-to-male cable built to link DC power sources with equipment that uses 5.5mm barrel jacks. Its dual-compatible plug accepts both 2.1mm and 2.5mm centre pins, so it fits a wide range of routers, CCTV cameras, LED strips and small monitors without needing an adapter.

Connector and Length Limits

The 90° elbow reduces bending stress at the device port, which helps in tight enclosures or behind mounted panels where a straight plug would protrude. The fixed 60cm length suits short runs but cannot span longer distances between a power supply and a remote device, and the barrel interface carries no locking mechanism to resist accidental disconnection.

Installation Notes

Push the appropriate end of the dual plug firmly into the jack until seated; no tools are required. The main issues are selecting the wrong centre-pin size for a specific device, routing the cable so the right-angle bend points the wrong way in a cramped space, and expecting the cord to reach beyond its 60cm limit.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 5.5×2.1 mm or 5.5×2.5 mm plug for my device?

The cable includes a dual-compatible male plug that fits both 5.5×2.1 mm and 5.5×2.5 mm DC jacks, so no choice is needed.

How does the 90° angled connector help inside a tight cabinet?

The right-angle elbow keeps the cable close to the chassis, reducing bending stress on the port and preventing damage in cramped spaces.

What does the 60 cm length limit in a typical router or camera install?

At 60 cm the cord reaches nearby power adapters without excess slack, keeping wiring tidy for surveillance cameras, LED strips or routers.
