Compact 30cm RJ50 cable for tight installs

This 30cm shielded Cat5E cable uses a 90° upangle RJ50 10P10C male-to-male design to fit cramped equipment bays. It targets installers wiring microphones, data terminals or mobile radios where straight connectors would collide with chassis walls or adjacent ports.

Shielded Cat5E reduces interference

The multilayer shielding on the Cat5E construction suppresses electromagnetic noise that can corrupt audio or data signals in dense racks. Because the cable is only 30cm long, voltage drop and latency stay negligible for typical microphone, telemetry or radio links.

Right-angle plug eases panel routing

The upward right-angle plug lets the cable run parallel to the panel surface instead of projecting outward, preventing bend stress at the jack. This 10-pin RJ50 format is specific to certain professional audio and radio gear, so it will not mate with standard 8P8C Ethernet ports.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 90° upangle RJ50 connector without damaging the cable?

Align the upward rightangle plug with the port, press straight in until it clicks, and route the 30cm cable so the bend radius follows the moulded angle instead of forcing a sharp kink.

What maintenance or replacement will this shielded Cat5E cable need later?

Inspect the RJ50 10P10C contacts and shielding braid periodically; replace the cable if pins show corrosion or the jacket cracks from repeated flexing in tight equipment areas.

What limit shows up first under sustained use with microphones or mobile radios?

The 30cm length and fixed 90° upangle geometry restrict repositioning, so connector strain or shielding fatigue typically appears before any Cat5E bandwidth ceiling.
