Active USB 3.0 Extension Cable 33ft

This active USB 3.0 extension cable extends connections between a computer or Windows tablet and peripherals up to 33ft. Built-in signal booster chips prevent attenuation for reliable SuperSpeed performance. It suits users who need to place devices far from the host port.

Capacity and headroom

The cable supports USB 3.0 and 2.0 devices including VR headsets, hard drives, hubs, printers and cameras. When a connected device draws more than 900mA, the included power adapter must be used to maintain stable operation. Without external power, high-current peripherals may not function correctly.

Bundled power adapter changes operation

A 5V/2A power adapter is included to supply stable current and back-pressure protection for long-distance transfers. Connecting the adapter enables the cable to handle devices that exceed the standard USB port current limit. The cable works without the adapter only for low-power peripherals.

Questions about this item

Will the 33ft active USB 3.0 cable work with my USB 2.0 keyboard and mouse without extra drivers?

Yes, the cable is backward compatible with USB 2.0 peripherals such as keyboards and mice. The built-in signal booster chips maintain reliable data transfer over the full 33ft length without requiring additional software.

How can I verify the 33ft extension is delivering USB 3.0 SuperSpeed after I plug it in?

Connect a USB 3.0 flash drive or hard drive and check the transfer rate in your operating system; sustained speeds well above USB 2.0 levels confirm the active booster chips are functioning correctly.

Does the box include the 5V/2A power adapter or do I need to buy one separately for my Oculus Quest 2?

The 5V/2A power adapter is included in the box. Use it whenever the connected device draws more than 900mA — such as the Oculus Quest 2 — to ensure stable power and data performance.
