Converts standard 24Pin ATX power supplies to 14Pin for Lenovo, IBM and Dell Q77, B75, A75, Q75 motherboards using 18AWG wire
This 15 centimetre adapter converts a standard ATX 24 pin power supply connector to a proprietary 14 pin layout. It is designed for owners of Lenovo, IBM and Dell desktops using Q77, B75, A75 or Q75 series motherboards who want to install an off-the-shelf power supply. The cable only changes the connector shape; it does not alter voltage or current delivery. Buyers whose motherboards use any other pin count cannot use this adapter.
The cord uses 18AWG tinned copper conductors to minimise voltage drop across its short length. Precision moulded plugs seat firmly on both the PSU and the motherboard header, reducing the risk of intermittent contact that can cause sudden shutdowns. Installation is a direct plug-in with no splicing or tools required. Systems that already have a native 24 pin board or that need a different proprietary pinout will not benefit from this cable.
This adapter replaces the original manufacturer cable when the factory power supply fails or proves insufficient for added components. It lets the builder keep the existing motherboard and case while fitting a standard ATX unit with wider wattage choices and easier future replacement. The jump is worthwhile when a proprietary PSU is dead, noisy or capacity limited. It is not a solution for boards that require additional auxiliary connectors beyond the 14 pin main header.

The cable measures 15 centimetres from end to end, keeping the routing short inside compact branded chassis.
Thick 18AWG tinned copper keeps resistance low, so the cable stays cool even during long-hour operation.
Your motherboard needs a 14 pin proprietary power socket, as found on Lenovo, IBM and Dell Q77, B75, A75 and Q75 models.
