15-metre DisplayPort 1.4 link

This 15-metre optical fibre cable carries DisplayPort 1.4 signals up to 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz with HDR. It is built for installers and enthusiasts who need a single long run between a source and a display without repeaters.

Direction-specific fibre design

The cable has a marked “Source” end for the GPU or laptop and a “Display” end for the monitor, TV or projector; reversing the plugs will break the link. Plug-and-play operation works once the orientation is correct, and the thin optical construction eases routing through conduit or tight cavities.

8K 60 Hz and 4K 144 Hz headroom

The link delivers full 8K 60 Hz bandwidth across the full 15-metre length and supports 4K 144 Hz for high-refresh gaming or VR. It does not carry power for active adapters, so displays that rely on bus power from the port may need a separate supply.

Questions about this item

Will the 15 m length still carry 8K at 60 Hz without signal loss?

The optical-fibre construction is specified for 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz over the full 15 m distance.

Does the cable draw extra power or run warm during all-day 8K use?

The fibre design needs no external power and produces no noticeable heat during continuous operation.

My monitor and GPU both have standard DisplayPort sockets — is anything else required?

Only a DisplayPort 1.4 source and a DisplayPort 1.4 display are needed; the cable is plug-and-play once the Source and Display ends are oriented correctly.
