What this cable delivers

The SMUGDESK DisplayPort 1.4 cable carries 32.4 Gbps bandwidth over a 3.3 ft braided nylon link. It supports 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz, 1440p at 240 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz with HDR, FreeSync and G-SYNC. Gold-plated connectors and triple shielding keep the signal stable for gaming monitors and workstations.

Check your ports and bandwidth budget

Verify that both your graphics card and monitor have full-size DisplayPort sockets and that the source can output DisplayPort 1.4 HBR3. The cable is backward compatible with earlier DisplayPort versions, but the highest refresh rates at 8K or 4K require a GPU and display that both advertise 32.4 Gbps capability.

Gamers and creators needing high refresh at 4K or 8K

This length suits desktop setups where the PC sits close to the screen. Buyers who need longer runs for projector installs or multi-monitor walls should look at active optical cables instead. Users whose hardware tops out at DisplayPort 1.2 will not gain extra resolution or refresh headroom from this cable.
