Converts an Oculink 4i port to a U.2 or U.3 NVMe SSD with PCIe 4.0 speed and integrated 15-pin SATA power
This cable converts an Oculink SFF-8611 38Pin port to a U.2 SFF-8639 interface for NVMe SSD installation. It operates at PCIe 4.0 speeds and remains backward compatible with PCIe 3.0. The 50cm length suits internal server and workstation routing. A 15-pin SATA power connector supplies the drive directly.
Verify your host provides an Oculink SFF-8611 38Pin connector before ordering. Ensure a free 15-pin SATA power cable from your power supply reaches the adapter. Confirm the target drive uses the U.2 or U.3 form factor and NVMe protocol. No other interface or power standard is supported by this assembly.
The adapter links an available Oculink port on a motherboard or add-in card to a U.2/U.3 NVMe SSD. It draws drive power through the integrated SATA connector, leaving the data path dedicated to PCIe 4.0 signalling. This frees standard drive bays and M.2 slots for other devices while adding high-speed NVMe capacity.

The cable has a built-in 15-Pin SATA power connector, so it delivers both the PCIe 4.0 data path and power to the U.2 or U.3 drive in one 50 cm assembly.
The 38-pin SFF-8611 end plugs into the Oculink 4i port on your motherboard or controller, while the 68-pin SFF-8639 end mates with the U.2/U.3 NVMe SSD.
The link runs at PCIe 4.0 rates and is backward compatible with PCIe 3.0, so the U.2/U.3 NVMe SSD will operate at its rated throughput limited only by the drive and host controller.
